In 1966, Douglas & Frances Söderberg started Söderberg Insurance Services to provide the highest level of service to clients in the North Shore. Over fifty years later, the business is still flourishing with clients in the North Shore and the Commonwealth. The Agency also conducts business in New Hampshire and Maine. Customer retention has been the key to success. The Agency now works with the second and third generations of the original client base. Founder, Douglas is still involved in the business, but has handed over the position of President to Kathryn Söderberg, CPCU.

Kathryn since assuming the position has used her business acumen and language skills to reach a rapidly growing segment of the population. Today, many of our staff members are bi-lingual and some multi-lingual so as to cater the ever changing demographics. The company has access to over forty carriers and can provide the “best value” for all the insurance needs of automobile, home, life and business owners.

The agency offers mentoring programs for students at the President's alma mater, Colby College and also at Endicott College offering exposure to the insurance field for college graduates and MBA candidates. 

The company has garnered several awards and national recognition in the industry for Customer Satisfaction, Strategy, Leadership and Community Support. Kathryn has been recognized as one of the Outstanding Women in Family Owned Business in Massachusetts. The Agency President has also been recognized as one of the top business leaders working with the Hispanic Community in the Greater Boston area.
